Job Description

  • Responsible and accountable for the technical competence management and architecture of all the projects, the ALM process definition execution & revision.
  • Primary responsibilities are two fold – Organization Level and Project Level.
  • At project level, primary responsibilities include – Architecture Design, ALM Process audit.
  • At organization level, primary responsibilities include – PPM Technical perspectives, Technology inception & elevation.
  • Continually Monitor industry trends, upcoming technology/R&D from technology POV and provide proposal for the same Define, Plan & Review the execution of the same.
  •  Technology Inception – Proactively ensure for self and the organization to learn and perform on latest determined technologies as per defined / specified path
  •  Technology risk management – define, review, and execute the objectives for the same.
  • Technical validation of architecture including POC, R&D assignments etc.
  • Define & execute the ALM processes being required to be develop & implement in the organization; responsible & accountable for the quality standards of the implementation, the ALM process definition, execution audit & revision.
  • Project Level – Requirements / Scope management.
  • Project Level – Architecture – Analyze, architect & design solution; Review & provide feedback on the implementation of designed architecture.
  • Project Management – Develop and maintain WBS / project artefacts, project schedule along with daily progress tracking, executing any project events as needed, proactively taking required corrective actions throughout the project life cycle.
  • Project Level – Manage code reviews, ensure code reviews are executed by PM (or delegated members) and review code quality reports.
  • Once project/sprint is deliver, he has to participate in the Postmortem of the project.
  • Knowledge Management – Collaborate for training need, technology upgradation, learning & growth for self and team members.
  • Resource Allocation – collaborate for resource allocation to projects; while tasks allocation within the project is to be looked after by TPM. 26. Project Portfolio Management – collaborate & execute necessary tasks to maintain organization portfolio management.
  • Provide technological leadership, mentoring to the team.
Skills Required
  1. Scrum Methodology, SDLC, ALM & Tools
  2. Good knowledge / knowledge of know-how – for business domains of the application(s) / project(s) assigned.
  3.  Application type/Framework specific best practices/standards.
  4. Good understanding of architecture, design patterns, industry best practices.
  5. Competent, Hands on expertise/knowledge in relevant technologies and learn new technologies
